Staff Team Building

Workshop description: Do your staff work together cohesively? How can staff learn to share their ideas and help each other? How can staff learn to act more as a team? One way is to have staff spend time with each other where they are not engaged in work-type activities. In this workshop, staff will spend time learning about their co-workers and what makes them “tick.”

All participants take a personality test (similar to the Meyers-Briggs but shorter). This test will give them insight into themselves and their co-workers. It will help them understand how communication differs from person to person. For instance, one person may respond well and actually prefer verbal cues while another is more comfortable receiving written instruction.

Workshop results:

  • By the end of the workshop, staff will gain a greater understanding of others unlike themselves.
  • Staff will discover their own personal communication preferences and learn about those of their co-workers.
  • Staff will participate in exercises that will give them insight into how to interact with their co-workers more effectively.

Length: Approximately two hours (for 10 or less participants)
Format: Round table informal & small and large group discussion

Restrictions: $250 fee applies to this Staff Team Building Workshop of 10 or less participants only. There is no cost reduction for less than 10 participants. Offer valid Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Additional fee will apply for more than 10 participants, after hours, or out of our service area. Call for a quote. Offer ends June 30, 2009.
